The glyphs you see on the BPF worker’s backs are condensed designations which represent their overall “batch number”. Before workers were hand-crafted, these did not exist. But since all workers are created here at the BPF, all workers are able to have this useful information stamped onto their bodies.
By referencing this “batch number”, it is possible to determine other useful stats about any given worker. These are, but not limited to:
Average life expectancy.
How many holes can be blown or (stabbed) into its body before it dies.
Likelihood of [REDACTED] happening from 3 [REDACTED] exposures.
Its specific number out of its overall “batch”.
The quality of the worker, as determined by the [REDACTED] system.
How often it must eat.
Aside from these stats, there are also several “batch quirks” associated with each batch of workers, which occurs from discrepancies in the procedures and conditions of their creation.
